"Get a great wedding album to remember your wedding day by" ... poo. Who forgets their wedding day!? I shoot wedding photography in a style a little more documentary I suppose.

You'll never forget your wedding day, but I'll help remind your of those little things that you may have forgotten, Uncle Henry sliding off his chair, your Nephew looking proud as punch holding the ring cushion, the manly hug between the Groom and Best Man when they think no-one's looking or Dad who's like a rock with proud tears in his eye.

I want you to look at your wedding pictures and see genuine smiles of happiness looking back at you; see the tears of laughter as the Best Man delivers his speech. It's your wedding day, not your wedding 40 minutes while I stood some people in a group and took some photos.

All our weddings are tailored to each individual Bride and Groom, but here's an example so you see what you get for your money. Our wedding services start from £600. This covers the time before the bride arrives at the church/registry office with a some shots of the expectant Groom, Best Man and Ushers aswell as the general pre-wedding excitment from your guests. Then its the start of the real wedding story... the bride's arrival, the ceremony follows and then some family group shots. We'll then steal the Bride and Groom to one side for some more intimate photos.

As part of your package you will receive a 30"x20" Frame/Canvas or Block and 2, 10"x8" framed images of your choice. You will also receive ALL images in full resolution, unwatermarked and copyright free on CD/DVD aswell as a DVD slideshow. You will also get a link to your private wedding album through our website to send to friends & family and to view at your leisure.

Your photographer will have already visited the venue to scout around for picture ideas, which he'll discuss with you at a pre-wedding meet up where we'll look at your day as well as those 'must have' pictures.

Hi... I'm Martin...

I started Carve Photography in Feb 2009 after receiving a poke from the redundancy finger in my previous Marketing role.
|
|
Photography has been a passion forever, its great getting your pictures developed and seeing something captured exactly as you wanted it, it's even greater when you see something you captured hanging on someone else's wall.
|
|
I'm an affiliate member of the British Institute of Professional Photographers (BIPP) while I'm working towards becoming a fully fledged member (they give you letters after your name and everything then).
|
|
I don't know why I'm not called Martin Lynn Photography following the same profile as other photographers; maybe I got sick of people ringing up asking to speak to Lynn Martins.

The name Carve came from my other passion, surfing. I was injured and hadn't surfed for months and myself and a former colleague were doing the whole 'talking poo' in the office thing and I decided if I had a photography business that's what it would be called.
|
|
Ironically, I don't often combine surfing and photography, if I'm on the beach taking pictures of surfing, it means that I'm stood in front of good waves that I'm falling off, erm... I mean riding them.
|
|
Anyway...enough rambling. I have a very reportage or 'In the moment' style to my photography, you get a true sense of a person when they aren't fronting up to the camera.
