Dreadnoughts Coaches is a family run enterprise, specialising in providing private charter vintage coaches for hire. All of their vehicles are lovingly cared for, which their immaculate condition shows. Established in 2002, they have been granted a National Operator's Licence by the department of transport, and are supported by a wide range of experienced and well qualified vintage bus enthusiasts.

British Lodekka XSL 228A (1961)

One of only 20 Lodekka's to be built as a convertible, with removable roof allowing for operation as an open-top bus.

It is believed to be one of the only two still operating in the British Isles. Powered by a Gardner 6-cylinder engine, it is capable of reaching up to 52mph.

One of only two survivors of the famous 'Preston rebuilds' the Leyland Titan has been fully refurbished since its withdrawal in 1979.

Acquired in 2005, it is fitted with a Leyland 0600 engine, four speed gearbox, and can achieve speeds of up to 45 mph

Acquired in 2006, this beautiful Lodekka use to service the famous 251 route from London to Southend.

It has been completely refurbished and returned to its best, featuring a 5 speed gearbox and 6LW Gardner engine, enabling it to cruise at 50mph.
