Helen and Aidan Ruff have put their heart and soul into restoring to its former glory, the stunning Ellingham Hall since they bought it in 1995. Today Ellingham Hall stands triumphantly in its eight acres of grounds, a magnificent venue for Northumberland weddings and services.

The whole house and grounds are offered exclusively for the use of you and your invited guests, and all our staff are attentive and discreet.

We are delighted to help you plan your wedding or civil service, with our many years of experience. Naturally every wedding is a bespoke occasion especially for you.

Wedding and Civil Partnership ceremonies are held in the stately wood paneled dining room with its coffered ceiling. While it seats up to ninety people, it also makes a very intimate and romantic setting for smaller ceremonies.

The Victorian Gothic 19th century former chapel is the grand and very atmospheric setting for your reception or wedding breakfast. Lit by candles, it is just perfect with its high vaulted ceilings.

|
While you dine, listen to the distant calls of the resident peacocks, as they strut artfully displaying their feathers in the gorgeous grounds.

The house has seventeen bedrooms, all traditionally decorated with taste and style to compliment the beautiful old Hall, and can accommodate thirty-one guests. There are also guest cottages within the grounds should your party need further accommodation.
